This is the umbrella privacy policy for the Calcy suite of Android apps, hosted at calcy.ch/privacy. It applies identically to every app listed below. Each app also has its own hosted copy of this policy at its per-app URL.

Summary
Every Calcy app is a fully offline calculator. The apps do not collect, store off your device, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. They have no internet access, no ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs, and no user accounts.
What data we collect
None. The Calcy apps do not collect any personal information or personal data from you. Specifically:
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifier.
- We do not collect location, contacts, photos, files, messages, or health/financial data off your device.
- We do not use analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
- We do not require or offer any account, login, or sign-in.
Network access
The Calcy apps request no internet permission and make no network connections. All calculations run entirely on your device. No data ever leaves your phone through the apps.
Information stored on your device
To remember your preferences, each Calcy app may save a small amount of settings data locally on your device only (using Android's standard app storage). This may include, for example, your chosen units or standard, region, theme (light/dark), and similar preferences.
- This data stays on your device.
- It is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared.
- It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app's data.
If you choose a custom brand icon or background, the image you pick is copied into the app's private storage on this device so it can be drawn in the app. It is never transmitted, and removing the image or clearing the app's data deletes it.
Permissions
The Calcy apps request no permissions that access your data — no internet, camera, microphone, location, storage, or contacts. The only entries in the built manifest are internal signature-level guards added automatically by the Android support libraries; they grant no access to anything on your device.
Children's privacy
The Calcy apps are professional utility tools intended for an adult, professional audience (18+). They are not directed at or designed to appeal to children and do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
Third parties
The Calcy apps contain no third-party advertising, analytics, or data-sharing libraries. No third party receives any information through these apps.
Data security
Because the Calcy apps collect no data and transmit nothing off your device, there is no personal data at risk of interception. Any settings an app saves are held in your device's private app storage, protected by the Android operating system.
Your rights
Since we do not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on our servers. You remain in full control: uninstalling an app or clearing its data removes all locally stored settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at calcy.ch/privacy (and at each per-app URL listed above) with a revised "Last updated" date.
